Flow Industries was asked to complete a preliminary compliance assessment on an imported gas singer, then work with a Type B Gas Inspector to carry out compliance changes required to meet NZ Standards at a meat processing plant. To do this, we installed a venting regulator with a vent line through the roof and sourced and supplied manual over-temp and high gas sensors to make the appliance fail-safe. We also installed additional sensors, worked with electrical and commissioning teams to integrate them into the current controls, and tested and commissioned them. Weather protection was needed over non-waterproof electrical components, and we installed a vent line on the gas train cover before issuing final compliance documentation and certification.
