A local manufacturing plant engaged Flow Industries' expertise to complete the turn-key design, supply and installation of a heating boiler package to replace the existing inefficient and troublesome cast iron hot water boiler. This project was completed in a one-day window; it included installing a new balance flue system through the roof, adapting the pipework, including the gas and water into the existing system, and commissioning the boiler ready for production again on the following Monday.

The boiler selected was a 120 kW high-efficiency stainless steel natural gas-fired boiler that would provide 20 to 30% more efficient energy consumption than the existing cast iron natural draft boiler. The whole project was completed and commissioned by Flow Industries, to the delight of the production and maintenance team at the manufacturing plant.  Flow Industries gave a video handover to the maintenance personnel to enable them to operate the control of the boiler and understand any fault codes if they arose.
