Over time drainage requirements in different situations change, and concrete floors deter easy installation of any new drains. This drainage project also required food-grade hygiene standards to be adhered to and a tidy surface finish. Flow Industries designed and installed this new floor drain in our clients’ food processing plant, allowing existing drainage to be expanded with a tidy and hygienic grated system installation. The procedure consisted of cutting the existing concrete, installing the grated drain system, and finishing with a clean non-slip finish to allow safe and easy cleaning.
